SIGA Majvest 500 SA is a high-performance self-adhered, vapour-permeable exterior air and weather barrier membrane designed for fast and reliable protection of exterior wall assemblies.
Its reverse face is fully coated with a pressure-sensitive adhesive, allowing Majvest 500 SA to bond directly to common building substrates including concrete, plywood, gypsum and metal without primer in most applications. This helps reduce installation steps, labour and additional materials while creating a continuous exterior air and weather barrier.
Majvest 500 SA combines strong adhesion at both high and low temperatures with a 50/50 split, tear-resistant release liner for easier positioning and installation. Its vapour-permeable construction allows outward drying while protecting the wall assembly from exterior weather.
Available in 18" and 60" widths, Majvest 500 SA can be used for both detailed applications and full-wall installations. The 18" roll provides 150 sq. ft., while the 60" roll provides 500 sq. ft.
