Blaugelb Plinth Thermal Insulation Profile EPS – 50 × 64 × 1175 mm

The Blaugelb Plinth Thermal Insulation Profile EPS is a high-density expanded polystyrene profile specially developed for use as an insulated substructure beneath entrance and balcony door thresholds. It provides excellent thermal and moisture protection for door systems made from wood, wood/aluminum, aluminum and PVC, while helping reduce thermal bridging commonly associated with conventional plastic support profiles.

Strong, durable and dimensionally stable, the profile is lightweight and easy to handle, allowing for quick and straightforward installation. It is 100% free of HCFCs, HFCs and HBCDs and has been tested for low pollutant emissions in accordance with EMICODE EC1 Plus.

The innovative Blaugelb dovetail connection allows individual profiles to positively interlock, making it possible to create virtually any required length while minimizing or eliminating offcuts and material waste. The 1,175 mm (46-1/4") profile length also provides convenient handling, transportation and storage.

An integrated tongue-and-groove connection allows multiple Blaugelb Plinth Thermal Insulation Profiles EPS to be securely coupled vertically, providing additional flexibility when greater installation heights are required.
